Equipment Room is a unique vinyl bar tucked away in the basement of Hotel Magdalena. To be a part of Bunkhouse’s first music-focused venue and collaborate with such a talented team was a dream. The design and construction focused on creating a high-quality audio experience with a cozy feel. Every aspect was studied in detail, from the placement of the speakers to the materials used throughout the space. As project manager, there were many challenges from ensuring city health code requirements were met, coordinating the complex audio system, and safeguarding the experience at Hotel Magdalena. The project was a tremendous success and I’m proud to have played a role.
